| I was in the Heights visiting my mom and checking out the new expansion of the 60 freeway when I decided to visit Andy Ayala. He was so excited to have me as a visitor that he invited me in to show me his new leg. It was a bit of a shock, but great to see that he will be able to walk around soon. David Baca tells me that he's moving back to Callie. So, until then I await the next reunion or the next time I my brothers and I are walking down the street in Atascadero and make our own on-the-spot reunion with Larry Rivera and a few others that live in the area. | |||

Hi to everyone here. My name is Michelle Caruso and I am in the midst of planning our Multi Class reunion for all Alumni from 1970 - 1979. ORiginally we were looking at October but there were too many conflicting things happening. Our original place was to be The Tuscany as I could not get good rates on the Strip. | I talked so much my voice went hoarse, how's that for catching up?! I ditto the idea of being able to upload pics from the reunion. I didn't get around to taking pics (yaking away) until the last few hours, but the ones I have are great. Our body shapes may have changed, our hair become gray or sparse, but our spirits were still that of our warrior teenage years...well with a bit of maturity and wisdom thrown in for good measure. Sooo good to see how everyone was doing in their lives, I'm all for a 35th if the powers that be feel up to it. Wouldn't blame them for wanting to take a good long break or even retire! Great job committee. Take care everyone, keep in touch, keep the warrior alive! ...you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you just might find....you get what you need!!! | |||

I went to the mall to get a new dress, I tried dresses on in the"cool" dept...but I looked like I was trying to hard to be young.Then I tried dresses on in the "mature" dept..but I looked old and boring.It seems like were all between young and older..like a bridge that connects the two, but we are on the bridge together...This might be a good time to pray that God holds the bridge, and I find a dress! | Hey class of '77'. Not sure if anyone remembers me. I didn't start attending Los Altos until my sophomore year. I was a majorette my junior year and a Letterette my senior year. Senior year was the best. I've been married for 26 years and have 3 children. My oldest son graduated from UC Berkeley and wants to be an Optometrist. My younger son is getting ready to transfer to a University and my daughter just started at community college last month. I was a stay at home mom with a decorative painting business until 6 years ago. I became a certified Onestroke Instructor and I now teach others to paint. I loved looking at everyones pics and reading what you have done in the last 30 years. You all have a great time at the reunion. | |||

| In response to Teri's msg about Santa Anita Inn...I stayed there last night. The grounds are pretty and things are well-kept, but this is an old hotel and the room/bathroom/towels/mattress/curtains/carpet/furniture are very used. If you just want a place to sleep for a few hours, and one that is literally across the street from GATE 5 where we enter for the party, then this would be a fine choice, but not if you want a modern place with a good bed.
